I feel awful about it. But I think it needed to happen. Nothing was wrong, but I think my talents as a boyfriend are meager… The strain of distance and time apart was very hard on us. I couldn’t keep pushing. I’ll always remember him fondly as the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. I hope we can be friends after the dust settles.
